2 Ways To Make Jewelry With Your Coin Collection

Necklace

Use The Following Materials

• measuring tape
• jewelry wire
• wire cutters
• coin bezel
• coin
• jewelry clasps
• jewelry pliers

Cut The Wire And Secure The Coin

Using the measuring tape, decide how low you would like the necklace to hang from your neck. Use a pair of wire cutters to cut a piece of jewelry wire that is the same size. Place the coin that you are using as the pendant on your necklace inside of a coin bezel. This type of device will safely secure the coin so that it does not fall off the chain and will prevent you from having to drill a hole through your prized possession.

Simply open the bezel by loosening the screw on it. Place the coin flat inside the circular opening. Tighten the screw and insert one end of the jewelry wire through the hole at the top of the bezel.

Attach The Clasps And Show Off Your Treasure

Each clasp in the set that you are attaching will have a small opening on the end of it. Insert each end of the jewelry wire through one of them. Use the jewelry pliers to twist the ends of the wire around each clasp several times so that they are secure. Put on your necklace and be prepared to hear compliments from your friends and family. When you would like to display one of your other coins, open the bezel, remove the current coin and replace it with another one from your collection.

• clasps
• jewelry pliers

• coin bezels

Attach The Coins To The Chain

Purchase a piece of jewelry chain that is large enough to fit comfortably around your wrist. Place each coin that is being used as a charm inside of a coin bezel. Use a pair of jewelry pliers to pry each loop slightly open that a bezel is being attached to. Slide the circular part on each bezel through the open loops. Use the pliers to tighten the loops.

Secure The Clasps And Display The Bracelet

Use the jewelry pliers to pry open the circular opening on the end of each clasp. Insert the opening on each clasp through one end of the chain. Secure the clasps by tightening them with the jewelry pliers. Put on the bracelet when you are going somewhere special and feel like showing off your collection of coins to others.
